Is traveling losing its seductive allure to you? Are they all starting to feel the same no matter where you travel? Then REALity Trips may be the solution you are looking for. At REAL Academy, we recognize that it’s not our experiences that mould us, but what we discover about ourselves through them.

This program was borne to combat the incessant fast paced life that has become synonymous with the 21st century. Since the dawn of the highly digitized age, the world has been moving at an accelerated pace, with little time to slow down and enjoy the beauty in moments that our forefathers enjoyed.  Why the need to slow down? These moments give us the time to reflect and discover more about ourselves and our place in the world.

Travel gets us out of our comfort zone and forces us to slow down and focus on each and every moment. Through these moments, our facilitators will use comprehensive tools to unlock the 3 important pillars that lay the foundation of self-growth.

The pillars

Identity - Who you are and what you can be
Relationships - How relationships shape and develop your sense of self
Action - What you have done or need to do to develop personhood.

Join us for an adventure that will change your world, one trip at a time.

Starlight School (Phnom Penh - Cambodia)

Situated at the outskirts of Phnom Penh, this school aims to enable the local village participants to upscale and have a higher chance of employability regionally. It is run and owned by an ex-teacher from Singapore. Having visited Cambodia during a trip he was burdened when he saw the limited opportunities provided for the children.

Virlanie Foundation (Makati Manila- Philippines)

A private, non-profit organization reaching out to street children in the Philippines, Virlanie cares for children in need of special protection – those who are abandoned, abused, exploited, neglected, orphaned, and among the poorest of the poor.  It is built on the motto of ‘Giving back the smile to street children’.

PPKKTAM@ David’s Home

Opened with only 10 child ‘inmates’, the Centre currently hosts 55 residents with special needs. Many of the residents are victims of abandonment by their families and depend heavily on the Centre for their daily subsistence, care and nurturing.  The home accepts all races and religions and their slogan is to ‘Help the Helpless’.

Our Program Highlights

Capital Development

At REAL Academy, Capital Development of our local communities can be a 3- course venture. Namely:

Slice of Singapore

Due to the lack of finances and opportunities, the furthest many members of the local communities will probably travel to is within the state of the country they are in; Never to have an opportunity to travel overseas.

Our REALity Trip participants will introduce a REAL Slice of Singapore to enable members to understand first hand how we live in our own homeland.
